MKJ 250.8 (MKJ 250.9) vegetable slicer
The MKJ 250.8 machine for shredding raw vegetables, cutting chips, flakes, pulp and also cubes (using the attachment). The MKJ 250.6 is recommended for professional use, as it eliminates greatly manual work and meals preparation time. The MKJ 250.8 slicer uses a belt drive with a three phase electric motor. The food contact parts are made of stainless steel, providing top hygiene standard during the process of shredding. The shredding discs are easy mounted at the end of the transmission output roller upon removing the charge box. It provides easy replacement and safe operation. The shredding disc blocks automatically during work on the output roller.
The machine has safety cut-out switches protecting from inadvertent activation when the charge box is dismounted or the pusher is open. The shredding discs drive can be operated only upon proper mounting of the box, switching the power button on the side surface of the casing.
Lifting the pusher each time (for charging with more vegetables, for instance) stops the motor, which starts again after the box is closed.
The charge box has a large hole divided with a movable pusher. The pusher should be lifted up during charging vegetables. Vegetables should be placed on the dispenser on top of the machine and slowly loaded into the charge box. The machine cannot be activated during charging when the pusher is lifted up. Only after lowering the pusher onto vegetables, the shredding discs are driven to start the shredding process. It is important that the shredded vegetables are poured into a container placed under the charge box.
The standard version contains 6 shredding discs: 1. blade for slices #2,5 mm, 2. blade for slices #3,5 mm, 3. blade for flakes thickness 3 mm, 4. blade for fine flakes, 2 mm, 5. blade for flakes 7mm, 6. blade for chips 10×10. Optionally other blades are supplied:
- blades for slices (2-blade), thickness from 1,5 to 5,5 mm,
- blades for chips size 6×6, 8×8, 10×12 mm,
- blades for flakes thickness 2,5 , 3 or 7 mm,
- blade for pulp
- blade for cubes 3×3 mm,
- set for cutting cubes 7,5×7,5×10 mm, 10x10x10 mm, 15×15×10 mm
or 20×20×10 mm.
